Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women
shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience
freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the
global ministries of the church. The UMW meet the second Saturday of each
month at 10:00 a.m.

The United
Methodist Men
The mission of the United Methodist Men is to provide opportunities for
individual and corporate spiritual growth for all men of UMC through education,
lay ministry, service and fellowship programs and activities. All men are
invited to join in this creative fellowship seeking to know Jesus Christ, to
grow spiritually, and to seek daily His will. The UMM meet the first
Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m.

The
Friendship Club
The Friendship Club is a social and service
group for senior women. Age is not an issue, and all women are welcome to
join the group which meets on Mondays. The gatherings alternate between
regular club meetings and dominoes tournament days. In addition to
fellowship, the club supports Calvary through service at dinners and other
special projects. The club also designs and creates unique crafts. Club meetings begin at 12:00 noon, and on dominoes days
at 10:30 a.m. Check the church calendar for specific dates. |
 Emmaus
Accountability Groups
Calvary is part of the Southern Maryland Emmaus Community. Members of
the congregation who have been on an Emmaus weekend gather weekly for a time of
fellowship and spiritual renewal. You do not need to have completed an Emmaus
weekend to be a part of this time. All are welcome. The men's
accountability group meets Mondays at 7:15 a.m. at the church. The women
meet Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. at Panera's Bread. If you would like to learn
