Sonshine

Sonshine is Calvary's children's choir, and is open to all children ages 4 through 12.  Sonshine performs at selected Sunday Worship services, and other special events including an annual Christmas program. The choir practices during Sunday School from 10:15 to 10:30 a.m.  Pat Brennan is the director.

Junior Church is a worship service tailored for children.  Each Sunday, following the Children's Sermon, children ages 4 through 3rd grade are invited to leave the sanctuary for a special Junior Church in the Fellowship Hall.  In addition to a special lesson, children have an opportunity to participate in a constructive craft exercise.  Lisa Brown is the current Junior Church leader. 

Parent's Day Out

Calvary offers a Parent's Day Out program on Thursdays from September to May. Each week children have free play, snack and lunch, outdoor play, and themed activities (stories, finger plays, craft projects, etc.) as well as bike day once a month. The hours are 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and each class has two teachers with a maximum of eight children. Any child from 3 months old to 4 yeas old may be registered for the school year by calling Janet Morgan. 

Acolytes serve by bringing in the Light of Christ which is used to light the candles around the altar.  To learn more about the Acolytes, click on the photo.
